About the Opportunity

The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Senior Manager, FP&A. This role will have extensive interaction with all levels of the organization and will be responsible for delivering value-added business analysis and meaningful financial/operational metrics that lead to insightful, accurate business decision making. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, able to prioritize tasks, has excellent communication skills, experience working within project teams and has a good grasp of accounting and finance principles.
Where you will make an impact

• Develop financial and operating KPIs and ad-hoc financial analysis to drive better decision-making and prioritization for the Services organization
• Monthly forecasting and annual budgeting, including risk and opportunities and long-term projections
• Provide analysis and insights into variances between actual and expected results
• Month-end close analysis, accruals, and reporting
• Creation and maintenance of key performance metrics
• Analysis of regional revenue, profitability, sales pipeline and capacity
• Various other ad-hoc analyses, financial modeling, special projects and reporting as needed
• Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments

What you will bring

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in financial planning and analysis, with strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
• Strong business acumen, with a demonstrated ability to understand and analyze key performance drivers for a business, draw conclusions, and extend concepts/recommendations toward future business impact
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize financials and KPIs in simple business terms and turn conclusions into stories that operators can understand and respond to
• Ability to work with large amounts of data and to translate results into meaningful metrics and recommendations aimed at improving business performance
• Ability to inherit existing analysis/metrics, maintain and extend value, and frame associated recommendations
• Extensive experience with Excel is required
• Experience with PowerPoint, Tableau, data discovery/business intelligence tools is preferred
• Work well under pressure & within short timelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to comfortably engage with and build trust with business partners at higher levels of seniority
• Communicates a sense of urgency and a commitment to delivering on time with quality
