Bio-Rad Clinical Diagnostics Group (CDG) is one of the leading global providers of tests for infectious and autoimmune disease screening, diabetes screening and monitoring, blood grouping as well as a range of reagents and software for laboratory quality control. In this cross functional role, you will participate in new technology development related to advanced analytical instrumentation for digital PCR. You will take a lead role in software development responsible for development of novel analytics for advanced imaging applications. Successful candidates should be skilled in all aspects of image processing, light microscopy and fluorescence microscopy.

How You'll Make An Impact:
  • Support AI model training to improve performance of image analysis pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain robust, user-friendly, software tools and pipelines.
  • Collaborate and in some cases coordinate research efforts with scientists and engineers to develop new algorithms and software for the analysis of fluorescence data.
  • Participate in project-wide reviews of development plans, requirements, architectures, detailed designs, and source code.

What You Bring:
  • Education: B.S., M.S. or PhD in a related field (Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Software, Data Science).
  • Work Experience: 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • 2+ years of experience developing AI models for Image Analysis applications.
  • Experience developing/deploying Image Analysis models and analysis pipelines.
  • Strong Python programming background preferred.
  • Experienced performing statistical analysis for biological datasets.
  • Experience using version control with git and github.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $117,900 to $162,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
