Position Overview
Far Ridgeline Engagements, a QinetiQ US company, is seeking CWMD and Critical Explosives Threats SME to support Special Operations at Fort Bragg, NC.
Responsibilities
Direct Action, Pathway Defeat, Functional Defeat, Specialized Entry, Strategic Planning and Problem Solving. Conduct coordination and planning with USASOC (and components) and USSOCOM supporting train, man, and equip requirements. Collateral responsibilities include general operational and crisis action planning and the conduct of general staff actions. Lead Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership & Education, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF) analysis associated with maneuver forces operating in complex and sophisticated subterranean WMD, HTD, and HDBT environments. Analyze and recommend revision and/or creation of individual and collective tasks to support ARSOF operating in hardened, complex, and subterranean environments.
Additonal responsibilties include:
1. Provide technical expertise for unconventional entry methods for subterranean facilities.
2. Provide technical expertise for mechanical entry methods for subterranean facilities.
3. Provide technical expertise for exothermic entry methods for subterranean facilities.
4. Provide technical expertise for explosive entry methods for subterranean facilities.
5. Provide technical expertise on systems and equipment associated with physical and functional defeat of subterranean facilities.
6. Conduct analysis and recommendation of proof of concepts for physical and functional defeat of subterranean facilities.
7. Conduct analysis and recommendation of training for physical and functional defeat of subterranean facilities.
8. Conduct analysis and recommendation of operational equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for physical and functional defeat of subterranean facilities.
9. Conduct imagery analysis to classify function, mission, and vulnerabilities of subterranean facilities.
10. Provide analysis of surface-to-surface and air-to-surface delivered weapons effects on subterranean facilities.
11. Provide analysis of maneuver forces weapons systems, and blast overpressure considerations in confined space environments associated with subterranean facilities.
12. Identify trends in threat development to anticipate future capabilities and vulnerabilities of subterranean facilities.
13. Assist in preparation of briefings, reports, findings, lessons learned, and best practices to inform/educate USASOC and its subordinate commands.
14. Coordinate with training developer to ensure specific subterranean lessons learned, and best practices are incorporated into POIs, TSPs, and doctrine when and where applicable.
Required Qualifications
1. Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance. #QinetiQClearedJob
2. Ten (10) years' experience with United States Special Operations Forces.
3. Six (6) years' experience assigned to Special Mission Unit (SMU).
4. Four (4) years' experience assigned to Special Forces.
5. Served as Special Mission Unit (SMU) Team Leader position or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Bachelor's or master's degree from accredited university
2. Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) experience desired.
3. CWMD activities training development, planning, and execution experience.
4. CBRN activities training development, planning, and execution experience.
