Description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Responsible for maintaining the appropriate flow of products in alignment with organizational objectives and customer commitments. Identifies product portfolio opportunities to reduce costs and inventory while successfully supporting Sales. Supports resolution of vendor quality issues in collaboration with the Quality team. Performs diligently required tasks in ERP to ensure system efficiency and accuracy.

This position's anticipated base salary range is 73,500,800 to 91,800 annually. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Responsible for maintaining the appropriate flow of products in alignment with organizational objectives and customer commitments. Identifies product portfolio opportunities to reduce costs and inventory while successfully supporting Sales. Supports resolution of vendor quality issues in collaboration with the Quality team. Performs diligently required tasks in ERP to ensure system efficiency and accuracy.
CORE FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION/CRITICAL ELEMENTS
Procurement release planning (75%)
- Performs assigned procurement activities to ensure fulfillment of customer commitments within promised timeline and budget.
- Generates purchase orders and plans releases for complex long lead times components (ex: Circuit boards and Cameras) up to 12 -16 months in advance.
- Adjust long lead-time releases to current backlog while supporting the rolling 3 month forecast updates in Epicor.
- Minimize required inventory support business.
- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce cost while maintaining compliance to specifications.
- Supports resolution of vendor quality issues in collaboration with the Quality team.
Administration (25%)
- Monitor/track KPI's (on time performance, lead-times, quality, and costs).
- Performs required tasks in ERP in a timely and consistent manner to insure system efficiency and accuracy.
- Follow and support QMS
Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Operations or related
- 5+ years' purchasing, procurement or supply chain experience
- 5+ years' experience working with ERP/MRP systems, identifying material demand, placing orders and monitoring status.
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Proficient in Excel
- Capable of successfully handling tasks and business requirements in a rapid growth environment on a daily basis, short lead time projects
- Technology enthusiast demonstrated through work experience, hobbies, and/or education
- Agile Mindset - the ability to work in an iterative manner that allows for rapid prototyping, effective feedback loops, and the ability to meet aggressive timelines
- In office position - Monday through Friday
