EVS is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator (Server OS/Data Center Expert) to join our team for a potential contract win. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and supporting server technologies, with a strong focus on Windows and Linux environments. This role requires a deep understanding of virtualization, information security, and data center infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Implement and manage Active Directory, Group Policy Management, and PKI solutions.
- Oversee VMWare Infrastructure and SAN/Blade and Rack Server infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with Information Security requirements, including IAVA/M and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG).
- Implement and manage Host Based Security Systems (HBSS) to protect server environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT initiatives and projects.

Requirements
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- DoD experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in the Information Technology field.
- At least five years of experience in VMWare Infrastructure and SAN/Blade and Rack Server infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of information security requirements and compliance standards.
- Proven experience in managing Windows and/or Linux server technologies.
Skills:
- Proficient in Windows and Linux server management.
- Expertise in Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
- Experience with PKI implementation.
- Strong understanding of VMWare and SAN technologies.
- Knowledge of information security best practices and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
