BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Financial Operations and Systems (OFOS), District Integrated Financial System (DIFS) Support Center (DSC). OFOS brings fiscal accountability, discipline and integrity to the District's financial processes by ensuring that standardized accounting practices, policies, procedures, systems, and internal controls are embedded throughout centralized and agency-level financial operations. The incumbent is responsible for providing user support and customer service regarding the use of the District's financial systems and serves as the first line of support for troubleshooting issues. Duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining the financial systems Help Desk and receives requests for assistance from users of the District's Oracle ERP Cloud based financial systems; developing and generating system reports and creating test scenarios; ensuring that users are aware of the policies, principles, and practices that govern the usage of the District's financial systems; monitoring assigned system tables, profiles or account balances to identify issues or concerns with the financial system; and providing weekly and monthly status updates of the outstanding tickets. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Three (3) years of relevant work experience performing duties related to overseeing or maintaining the security of a financial information system (e.g. Oracle, SAP, etc.), monitoring system internal controls for security risks, assisting with the development of security policies and procedures, and providing technical support, training, and guidance to system users. Must have the ability to explain technical information in a clear and understandable manner, both orally and in writing.
Specialized Experience

Experience that provides the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.

SALARY REDUCTION OF REEMPLOYED ANNUITANTS:

An individual selected for employment in the District Government on or after January 1, 1980, who is receiving an annuity under any District government civilian retirement system, shall have his or her pay reduced by the amount of annuity allocable to the period of employment as a reemployed annuitant.
