This executive-level position will be responsible for overseeing P&L management, sales, marketing, and generics portfolio strategy to maximize product performance and achieve organizational goals.

As the Executive Director of Sales & Marketing for our Institutional, Hospitals and Clinics business (IHC Gx), you will lead our commercial efforts across multiple pharmaceutical products and therapeutic areas. You will be responsible for overseeing P&L management, sales, marketing, and generics portfolio strategy to maximize product performance and achieve organizational goals.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field required, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Work Experience:
This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. Preference will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.
Our Sandoz flexible-hybrid working approach allows US office-based employees to work up to 50% of their monthly workdays remotely.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $236,600 and $439,400/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
On September 30, 2021, Sandoz entered into a 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement. Certain positions will have responsibilities to support the execution and adherence to CIA obligations, CIA-related deliverables, and any relevant audit, monitoring or Independent Review Organization (IRO) remediation.

As the Executive Director of Sales & Marketing for our Institutional, Hospitals and Clinics business (IHC Gx), you will lead our commercial efforts across multiple pharmaceutical products and therapeutic areas. You will be responsible for overseeing P&L management, sales, marketing, and generics portfolio strategy to maximize product performance and achieve organizational goals.
Your additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
P&L Responsibility:
- Full accountability for the profit and loss of Institutional, Hospital & Clinics generics business
- Develop and implement commercial strategies for the portfolio size of roughly 200 product SKUs and optimize revenue and profitability across multiple, diverse therapeutic areas
- Manage and deliver on all Operating Income for the business.
Sales Leadership:
- Oversee sales leadership in developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth and market share.
- Achieve sales targets and overall P&L accountability and resource allocation.
- Monitor and drive business performance of respective sales and account teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and industry partners to enhance brand loyalty and drive sales.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the sales organization that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure successful execution of sales performance in line with portfolio strategies.
- Build best in class sales team through talent acquisition, succession planning and development of associates
Marketing Strategy:
- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans for generics portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for growth, competitive positioning, and customer insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful commercialization of product launches and ongoing promotional & contracting activities.
- Drive marketing mix and implement operational plans to optimize sales, market share and revenue growth in the short and long term.
- Leads development of commercial deliverables to shape the brand and serve as primary content expert for any internal and external communications associated with each brand.
Pipeline & Forecasting:
- Drive portfolio expansion through in-licensing products from partners and a key contributor for negotiating deals.
- Owner for solidifying long and short-term forecasts for both local and Global needs through cross functional teams, i.e. supply demand plan, portfolio reviews, financial forecasts.
- Provide accurate and timely global forecasts for operations planning and act as Global point of contact.
- Innovate lifecycle strategies (LCS) and key tactics to generate incremental revenues and profits.
- Responsible for all commercial inputs for pipeline forecasting during development and for pre-launch preparation for assigned products.
- Monitor brand performance and market trends, making data-driven decisions to enhance brand equity and customer engagement.
- Commercial lead for IP related activities for assigned products, i.e. potential depositions, launch-at-risk assessment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders including Supply Chain, Market Access, Finance, Commercial Excellence, Global stakeholders, to align with commercial strategies.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure product availability and distribution efficiency.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing commercial team, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the commercial organization
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field required, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Work Experience:
- 10+ years of experience with a proven track record in general management, sales, marketing or portfolio management, and P&L management required.
- Strong understanding of Institutional, Clinics and Hospital market dynamics.
- Established network of relationship with key customers/buying groups in the Channel(s)
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute with precision in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical market, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
