Ibotta is looking for a Technical Manager, Client Data & Measurement to join our fast growing team! This role will build and lead a team of decision scientists and business intelligence developers, driving innovative solutions through the use of analytics, and scaling data & analytics products for internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will have curiosity, experience building and maintaining productionalized dashboards and other data assets, the desire to serve as a leader across the department, and willingness to jump in and get their hands dirty to unblock and or support the team. You will also be responsible for working closely with cross-functional leaders to define and execute on your team roadmaps.

What you'll be doing:

- Work with cross functional leadership to understand business needs and prioritize the most impactful projects to drive business decisions and strategic outcomes
- Build and retain a team of highly motivated decision scientists and business intelligence developers
- Constantly speak to stakeholders about prioritization of key projects, rigorously revisit priorities, and confidently represent the effort required to deliver on initiatives
- Establish automated processes to scale insights across Ibotta, and treat our data assets as software that continuously evolves and improves to meet business needs
- Serve as a leader across the department, bringing data, analytics, operational and culture building best practices to the organization
- Research industry trends and standards to stay abreast of new developments and proactively suggest areas of improvement
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in an analytical function with experience working directly with senior leadership
- 2+ years of management experience
- Experience hiring, leading, developing, and retaining talent
- Demonstrated analytical ability, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to distill complex analytical solutions into actionable insights
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to collaborate across functional areas
- Curiosity and the commitment to continually ask questions of our data and business
- Excels in a fast-paced environment with the capability to prioritize effectively
- Excellence using BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Mode) and ensuring best practices are continually maintained in all dashboarding
- Demonstrable success with turning concepts and ideas into innovative insights, solutions, or products
- Experience using modern data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, SAS, etc.) and data platforms (Databricks, Qubole)

Additional Details:
- This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, profit sharing and equity.
- Base compensation range: $124,000 - $144,000. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
