Description:
Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater, and civil infrastructure, is seekinga licensed Engineering Project Manager to join our Maine Water team. This person will manage and execute municipal water and wastewater projects in Maine and throughout greater New England, and can work out of our Topsham or Portland, ME office.
Responsibilities- Management, oversight, execution of a variety of municipal water and wastewater projects.
- Technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating small-to-mid-scale projects.
- Performing portions of large or complex multi-disciplinary projects.
- Applying intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance organization's standards and delivery of services.
- Managing and mentoring junior-level staff.
- Performing research assignments, pilot studies as needed.
- Participating in water/wastewater industry professional organizations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate initiative and effective problem-solving skills
- Personal organization and time management skills
- Produce assignments on time and on budget
- Build strong relationships with coworkers

- 10 years' work experience executing a variety of municipal and industrial drinking water and wastewater projects
- Experience managing multi-discipline project teams
- Experience with preparing proposals and scopes of work
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
