Overview
Summary:
The Director of Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for operations of the revenue management and collections for Reliant Rehabilitation and developing the strategy for ongoing improvements in the revenue cycle management area. They will be responsible for the contract billing operations. Represents Reliant Rehabilitation's commitment to quality & service in all interactions with the communities and clients, as well as adheres to Reliant Rehabilitation's Policies and Procedures and to all state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures billing systems and processes are in place to ensure proper billing and timely collection for services provided. Continuously monitors processes and makes or recommends improvements to enhance performance.
- Works with Information Technology department and external systems provider in the development/enhancement of systems to improve revenue management.
- Works with Reliant leaders and operators to ensure the utmost customer service to internal and external customers.
- Develops, monitors and maintains credit and collection policies for Reliant Rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement collection strategies to maximize collections
- Develops and maintains tools needed to make appropriate credit recommendations.
- Develops and maintains account receivable reports.
- Provides regular updates and/or recommendations to senior management on large problem accounts.
- Manages Collections for Senior Living customers and large insurance payers. Provides guidance and monitors collection performance of billing office. Ensures adherence to collection policies.
- Directly handles collection activity on major delinquent accounts. Works with principals of debtor companies in resolution of delinquencies. Retains and works with legal counsel as required.
- Interacts with accounting on revenue recognition and lookback analysis
- Must conduct self in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner at all times.
- Must adhere to the policies, principles, and guidance within the Employee Handbook and Code of Business Conduct.

Education/Experience:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
- Five or more years of experience in corporate-based healthcare environment.
- Experienced with revenue management in healthcare environment.
