Job Description:
The Senior Director / Director, Neuroscience External Engagement is a key leadership role within the Neuroscience Commercial team and will will report to the Vice President & Franchise Head of the Neuroscience Business Unit. This role will be critical in leading and developing strategies that support Key Thought Leaders (KTLs) and key National Associations in the areas of Adult Spasticity, Cervical Dystonia, Pediatric Spasticity and future anticipated indications for Dysport, such as Migraine, in addition to other pipeline Neuroscience assets. This role will aim to gain market insights, uncover collaboration & strategic partnership opportunities, and foster productive KTL relationships to advance advocacy for the Ipsen Neuroscience Franchise at large practices, major institutions throughout the US, and Key National Associations.
This role will also work cross functionally to help bring programs and resources to fruition in support of the Neuroscience BU.
Note that this is a field based role.

Job Description:

Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies
- Lead development & execution of our Neuroscience KTL engagement strategy, in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, V&A & Medical teams, to drive advocacy for Dysport and Ipsen.
- Develop and maintain advocacy for Ipsen and Dysport with current key national and regional thought leaders in the treatment of Adult Spasticity, Cervical Dystonia, Pediatric Spasticity and future anticipated indications, such as Migraine. Through engagement and interaction with KTLs at large practices and major institutions, gather insights, identify and anticipate trends and act on unmet client needs.
- Identification and development of advocacy for Ipsen and Dysport with future thought leaders in the treatment of Adult Spasticity, Cervical Dystonia, Pediatric Spasticity and future anticipated indications for Dysport, such as Migraine, in addition to other pipeline Neuroscience assets.
- Lead development & execution of Ipsen's Neuroscience related advisory boards and strategic consultations. Works closely with Marketing, Medical & other key internal stakeholder teams to develop and implement the programs.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the Neuroscience conference strategy for all relevant conferences. Works closely with Marketing & Medical to implement plan and facilitate cross-functional coordination at conferences.
- Lead strategic direction & planning for key Resident & Fellow program engagement across the country.
- Co-lead KTL strategic mapping for key thought leaders in Migraine (future anticipated indication), in collaboration with Medical team.
- Lead strategic direction & foster strong relationships with key national associations including AAPM&R, AAP, AAN, AHS, etc.
- Manage and deliver on impactful KTL engagement activities / projects with minimal oversight.
- Understand and leverage competitive, economic and business factors that may shape the future of Neuroscience.

Knowledge, Experience & Education (required)
- BA/BS in a relevant field is required (MBA is preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Extensive pharmaceutical customer engagement experience
- Experience managing complex customer relationships
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to influence others
- Ability to work with multiple internal cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to positively connect across multiple stakeholders, including experience of working with senior leaders across the US and in multiple time zones
- Excellent analytical, skills and understanding of business analytics tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to interface with both internal and external stakeholders, cross-functional partners, alliance partners, and senior management
- Working within an environment of strict compliance to all appropriate regulatory guidelines to successfully design and execute tactics, programs and tools that achieve business objectives
- Willingness/ability to travel up to 60% across the US. International travel may be required
