As the Sr Team Manager, EA Software Operations reporting to the Director of EA Practices & Operations in Schwab's Enterprise Architecture team you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the organization's EA products and tools portfolio, ensuring the EA function has the software products necessary for storing and reporting on relevant data as well as supporting related automation and analytics.

You will ensure all products are managed along their full lifecycle from concept to retirement and are complaint with all related policies and standards. You will work with other teams within EA and external to EA to ensure Schwab's EA vision is achieved over time in the most culturally appropriate way. You will be the point of contact for Schwab other teams to ensure the EA function is responsive to external requests for information to include audits and regulatory compliance.
You are a people-oriented technical manager that is experienced working with multiple technologies in a hands-on capacity, so you know how to develop and implement solutions from end to end but are now focused on leading teams to do the same. You get career fulfillment by building a team of professionals that are mission focused, aligned, and positive about their work and career.
You are communicative and direct, but very tactful in your approach toward handling conflict as you tailor your approach toward any given situation. You are patient, yet steadfast in making forward progress toward achieving team results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Solutions Development & Maintenance
- Manage the lifecycle of all EA technology products
- Manage the ongoing development and maintenance of the core EA management system (Planview EA)
- Plan for and manage the evolution of the EA product portfolio, which may include selection and migration to new solutions.
- Oversee the operational administration of all EA products
- Support integration requirements from other teams that require EA-related data and automation
- Risk Management & Compliance
- Support informational requests from risk management, audit and regulatory partners
- Develop and maintain standards related to EA
- Work with EA teams to remediate vulnerabilities and track remediation progress.
- Service Request Management
- Manage the efficient intake and resolution of all EA front door requests
- Continuously review and enhance operations procedures and tools to assure customer satisfaction
- Team Leadership & Culture:
- Manage and mentor a team of analysts and solutions engineers
- Develop and maintain the technical expertise of the EA Operations team
- Demonstrate a collaborative and communicate positive working environment with a focus on a healthy work-life balance
- Make hard decisions based on your analysis of the facts, desired outcomes, and experience in consultation with your leadership as the situation requires
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in solutions delivery team management
- Deep understanding of hosted and on-prem solutions delivery and administration
- Expert people leadership skills and behaviors with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Working knowledge of the Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Demonstrated expertise with agile delivery and project management and alignment with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product development lifecycle (PDLC) methodologies
- Strong process orientation and attention to detail
- Comfortable handling conflict and making the hard decisions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with the Enterprise Architecture discipline and use of Planview EA or another EA tool as an end-user and/or administrator
- Working knowledge of Tableau, M365 Power Platform, and SQL Server
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred
- Relevant technical certifications preferred such as TOGAF, PMP, ITIL, etc.
