Key Responsibilities

Position Purpose: Reporting to the Senior Director of Quantitative Analytics, the Director of Revenue Management will be a critical member and part of a team responsible for measurement of key performance indicators for senior management insights to support drive business decisions. Responsibilities include performance monitoring and maintaining competitive rental and care rates, market research, building financial models and ad hoc projects. Director will also build and maintain pricing operational reports to deliver actionable data and key business insights to the Alerislife Organization.

This will be an on-site role working out of the office in Newton, MA.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
  • Portfolio Pricing Analysis - Analyze current rates across all Alerislife managed and owned communities and recommend opportunities for continued performance improvement
  • Competitive Market Analysis - In depth pricing competitive analysis of Alerislife portfolio markets for trends and insights, to maintain and strengthen Alerislife's operational excellence in the market.
  • Budget Planning and Forecasting - Support the annual budget development process in collaboration with the FP&A team with analysis and review as required
  • Reporting - Build and maintain pricing dashboards using visualization tools for ad hoc analysis requested by senior management and standard reports to benefit the communities
  • Ad-Hoc Projects - Support management initiatives as deemed necessary
  • Collaboration - Build and maintain partnership with internal cross functional teams (FP&A, Data Engineering, IT Solution platforms, Community management) and external (strategic vendors) for data governance oversight and data integrity management on pricing data
  • Compliance - Leverage internal tools for operational efficiency

Education / Experience / Other Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred

Years of Experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in real estate, senior living, healthcare, analytics, or informatics

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated knowledge working with large datasets (preferably in real estate, senior living, hospitality, healthcare)
  • Possess strong skills in Excel and MS Office suite; BI visualization tools, preferably Power BI
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL Skills to explore data in Snowflake data warehouse; python skills to build predictive models
  • Strong understanding of financial and statistical concepts
  • Organizational and project management skills to manage projects effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including data visualization to present complex data analysis, outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to service excellence; Ability to deliver timely and accurate work product to a broad customer base


Location Information

Five Star Senior Living's corporate headquarters are located in Newton, Massachusetts. Just 20 minutes outside of downtown Boston, the building features easy access to public transportation and the Massachusetts Turnpike.
