SAIC is looking for a highly motivated and technically oriented systems engineer to support a critical customer project. The position requires the ability to learn about technology quickly, communicate technical information to non-technical audiences, and engage and collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to meet mission outcomes. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications
- Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly
- Bachelor's Degree, or experience can be substituted for the degree
- Minimum of 14 years of relevant experience
- Ability to understand and communicate technical and complex information in terms that are applicable and understandable at multiple knowledge levels to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to think and execute strategically to identify cross-cutting enablement opportunities traceable back to a mission need
- Experience with technical program management and translating programmatic and technical ideas into actions
- Technical breadth with expertise or the curiosity to quickly learn about current and emerging wireless, mobile and cellular telecommunications technologies and/or radio frequencies communication
- Demonstrated exceptional performance working cross-cutting business areas across technical organizations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills working sensitive topics and influencing outcomes
- Experience providing support to reviews and Technical Exchange Meetings and making recommendations on future course of actions
- Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with senior customer managers
- Exceptional organizational skills and initiative to follow through on actions and document important information and decisions
- Work collaboratively across the customer's team to ensure de-confliction across various frameworks
- Periodic travel within the US to support technical exchange and programmatic meetings
- Experience with the life-cycle of software and/or system engineering
- Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders through engagements to develop solutions based on prioritized requirements
- Demonstrated experience performing or supporting Lines of Businesses associated to cellular network infrastructure, vulnerability research, and/or wireless exploitation
- Demonstrated ability and success working atypical organizational relationships
- Ability to review designs, testing approaches, research reports, etc. and provide recommendations to improve them
- Direct experience or practical working knowledge of commercial practices for program management, design, development, production, and test. Especially the practical application of lean and agile methods
