Description

Great Lakes Dental Partners is looking for a wildly ambitious, strategic, and forward thinking HR professional to join our Human Resources team as Manager of People Operations & Talent. This isn't a traditional HR role it's designed for someone who is ready to grow fast, thinks like a builder, and wants to make a tangible impact on people and performance across our multi-site organization.

You'll work directly with the VP of Human Capital Management on high-impact initiatives that drive workforce transformation, recruitment evolution, and operational excellence. You will manage full-cycle recruitment strategy, support workforce planning, drive systems automation, and help support and enhance programs that strengthen our teams now and in the future.

The Four Pillars of Your Role

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Own and continuously evolve GLDP's full-cycle recruitment strategy-from sourcing to onboarding-with a strong focus on talent brand and candidate experience. Act as a personal concierge for each new hire, guiding them through every stage: interview, onboarding, first day, engagement surveys, retention efforts, and even offboarding.
  • Partner with HR Generalist, Regional Directors, and leadership to define workforce needs, time-to-fill targets, and pipelines for clinical and non-clinical roles.
  • Serve as a thought leader and internal coach of GLDP's recruitment philosophy and hiring values.

2. People Operations & Automation
  • Leverage technology and systems to delegate, automate, and streamline HR administrative processes. Utilizes data to drive decision making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless people operations across the Support Center and field practices.
  • Identify and implement tools or workflows that enhance HR scalability and efficiency.

3. Strategic People Projects
  • Co-lead future-of-work planning, including workforce upskilling, succession strategy, and skills-based talent mapping.
  • Support development and rollout of HR programs and playbooks that enhance engagement, performance, and retention.
  • Analyze people data to inform decisions, identify patterns, and help solve workforce challenges before they surface.

4. Employee Champion & Culture Builder
  • Champion initiatives that improve the employee experience, foster belonging, and support career growth.
  • Be a trusted partner to our office manager, regional directors across GLDP
  • Lead with humility, professionalism, and a strong voice, bringing energy and perspective to all people conversations.
  • Serve as the daily go-to for the Support Center corporate office, proudly overseeing all logistics and operations-from team outings and lunches to office supplies and morale boosters-for our home office and leadership team.

  • Data-literate and business-savvy, with strong knowledge of reporting and Excel-skilled in pulling and analyzing employee data to uncover insights, connect the dots between programs, metrics, and outcomes, and clearly communicate the "why" behind workforce decisions.
  • A natural multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Reliable, accountable, and team-focused-you show up, follow through, and collaborate with purpose and integrity.
  • Possess a deep understanding of hospitality, ownership, and presence at the office level, supporting day-to-day operations and acting as a trusted set of eyes and ears for the HR and broader leadership team to ensure the Support Center runs smoothly and reflects our values.

Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive HR or people operations experience (multi-site healthcare or private equity a plus)
  • Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment, with an eye for candidate experience and hiring velocity
  • Proven ability to optimize or automate workflows, ideally using tools like Paylocity, or other HRIS systems
  • Ability to utilize Google and Microsoft Suite with efficiency
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use people data to drive insight and action
  • Comfortable in a high-change, high-growth environment with competing priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
