Overview
The Director, Learning & Development leads the development and execution of comprehensive learning strategies that align with organizational goals and promote continuous employee growth. The Director will take a leading role in shaping a culture of learning, fostering employee engagement, and driving transformation through innovative educational programs, leadership development, and upskilling initiatives. The Director will collaborate closely with senior leadership, HR partners, and other stakeholders to implement strategic priorities that enhance employee performance, improve culture, and impact organizational outcomes. The Director will manage the learning function, ensuring that educational programs, tools, and resources are scalable and adaptable to evolving workforce needs. Ensures compliance with EEOC, DOL, HRSA, Joint Commission, and other regulatory agencies.
This position is considered Hybrid, which means that individuals in this position may work both at an approved Offsite location and Onsite at a primary location or multiple locations based on Business Needs.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategic learning and development framework that supports the organization's long-term goals and promotes continuous employee growth and retention.
Partner with senior leaders, HR, and business units to identify organizational needs and implement learning initiatives that address skill gaps, compliance requirements, leadership development, and succession planning.
Lead the design and delivery of high-impact training programs, including New Employee Orientation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a culture of continuous learning across the organization.
Oversee the management of the learning management system (LMS), ensuring effective training delivery, tracking learner progress, and generating performance reports.
Develop and implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and continually optimize based on feedback and performance data.
Manage and develop the learning and development team, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous growth.
Drive innovation in learning methods, exploring new technologies, and integrating eLearning, blended learning, and other modern training tools to enhance employee development.
Support organizational change initiatives, ensuring employees are equipped for new processes, technologies, and roles.
Evaluate and adjust learning programs regularly to ensure they align with evolving business needs and foster a strong talent pipeline.
