About Sebetralstat

Sebetralstat is an investigational, novel oral plasma kallikrein inhibitor for the treatment of hereditary angioedema (HAE). We have filed multiple regulatory applications seeking approval of sebetralstat as the first oral, on-demand treatment for HAE in individuals aged 12 and older and are investigating its use in children aged 2 to 11. If approved, sebetralstat has the potential to become the foundational therapy for HAE management worldwide.

About the role:

The Professional Education Lead is responsible for designing, developing and implementing educational programs that enhance the knowledge of our HCP/patient customers, internal teams and external stakeholders. In this role, you will ensure alignment with company goals, regulatory requirements and industry best practices to drive scientific engagement, product awareness and clinical adoption.

Responsibilities:

Program Oversight
  • Create, lead, and execute HCP and patient speaker programs in partnership with HCP/patient marketing, sales, and compliance
  • Organize and execution of HCP advisory boards, product theaters and congress planning/engagements in partnership with HCP marketing and supporting vendors
  • Manage ongoing relationships with HCP and patient speaker bureau members and lead annual pro. ed. planning for the marketing team

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
  • Commercial liaison between medical pubs team to ensure strategic partnership and information sharing
  • As a commercial team member, you will work closely with compliance in creation of policies and supporting pull through in the field
  • As a member of the HCP marketing team, you will work closely with MLR and marketing team members such as patient marketing, marketing operations, and commercial project management

Performance Measurement & Compliance
  • Track and assess the effectiveness of educational programs through feedback, engagement metrics, and learning assessments
  • Ensure all educational activities comply with legal and compliance standards. This includes monitoring and program reconciliation/close out support
  • Report on program success, impact, and areas for improvement to leadership


Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical HCP marketing, professional education or learning & development
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering speaker programs
  • Experience collaborating with KOLs, medical associations, and regulatory bodies
  • Strong knowledge of clinical data, drug development, and therapeutic areas relevant to the company's portfolio
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and instructional design skills
  • Ability to translate complex scientific information into practical, engaging content
  • Proficiency in digital learning platforms, virtual training tools, and content management systems
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's Degree required
