OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Marketing Manager - in our North America Region to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic marketing plans for the North American market, aimed at increasing brand visibility and awareness, driving customer acquisition, and boosting sales. This role will be able to flex between strategic and tactical duties - leading the North American marketing department. This position will promote both the Yanmar and ASV distinct brands under YCENA. This hybrid/remote role will be home based in the greater Atlanta area with 2 days at the Yanmar America location in Adairsville, Georgia. This position will report directly to the North America Region President.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Brand and Marketing Strategy:
Enhance the company's brand presence and awareness in North America by ensuring consistent messaging, visual identity, and tone of voice across all marketing materials and touchpoints.

Product & Solutions Launches:
Actively lead the planning, messaging, development, execution and optimization of marketing and promotional (launch) campaigns for all YCENA products and solutions (digital, traditional, and event-based) across various channels (social media, direct email, web, and print) to help achieve sales revenue and market share targets for North America.

Events and Tradeshows:
Act as lead on specific trade shows development of timing plan, resource & budget management, lead generation strategies and drive YCENA participation to various trade shows and events whilst ensuring active dealer participation and engagement

Content Creation & Management:
Collaborate with content creators, designers, and agencies to develop high-quality marketing materials, job stories, case studies, white papers, videos, and presentations.

Digital Marketing:
Oversee digital marketing activities such as SEO, social media and email marketing. Continuously optimize campaigns to improve ROI and engagement.

Market Research & Insights:
Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve campaign performance.

Budget Management:
Develop and manage the annual and mid-term 5 years marketing budget for the North American region, ensuring cost-effective execution of marketing activities.

Performance Reporting:
Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement. Track and evaluate success metrics of all sales promotions and campaigns (including tradeshows), identifying ROI.

Dealer Training:
Lead efforts in ensuring adequate and relevant training for our dealer partners.

KEY TARGET AUDIENCES:

1. Dealers and Distribution Partners:
Continue to develop collaborative working relationship with dealer network to promote Yanmar CE in their marketing and branding efforts and initiatives through strong dealer co-op marketing budget collaboration.

2. Customers:
Foster customer engagement and loyalty by executing targeted campaigns that find, engage, retain and grow current and potential customers. Define, measure and drive customer satisfaction and customer centricity across YCENA organization and dealer network.

3. Press:
Manage media/PR activity, develop and share job stories, customer testimonials and press releases, marketing materials, and oversee external communications.

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of Marketing experience in leadership role. Experience with remote collaboration is a plus.
  • B2B experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and specific product knowledge are strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing budgets & optimizing marketing spend for maximum ROI.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and organize/complete multiple projects efficiently with strong attention to detail and to budget.
  • Strong influential and collaborative skills to drive Marketing topics across the organization.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze/interpret marketing data. Ability to collect/analyze numbers to provide meaningful conclusions.
  • Expertise in customer segmentation and targeting strategies.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate global matrix organization with anticipated 25% travel - both domestic and internationally. Frequent travel to Grand Rapids, Minnesota and Adairsville & Acworth, Georgia.
