Who We Are:
Lockheed Martin (LM) Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is looking for systems engineering professionals to work on the Trusted Security Solutions (TSS) program to engineer Cross-Domain Solution (CDS) products. This position is for a Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Lead and Manager on the Trusted Manager (TMAN) product and/or Radiant Mercury product within the program. TMAN is the Air Force premier CDS product and Radiant Mercury is the US Navy's premier CDS product. LM has been the prime contractor for both products for over 20 years.

Our CDS products protect and defend the information flow of critical and time sensitive data on many military applications and networks.

Who You Are:
The TSS program is looking for an innovative and creative technical lead to provide systems engineering, integration, & test (SEIT) leadership across the TSS products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Systems Engineering development and be able to support the TSS program in all phases of the CDS development, configuration, and deployment process.

The Work:
The primary work location is at the Deer Creek Facility (DCF) in Littleton Colorado with limited ability to work remotely. The candidate will be required to come into the site to conduct their work. Responsibilities for the role include:
* Create and maintain Feature Description Documents (FDDs) for new features and enhancements, ensuring clear and concise documentation of functionality and testing requirements.
*Collaborate with Architect to define the long-term roadmap for our CDS's, incorporating security considerations and emerging technologies.
* Provide Raise the Bar (RTB) approved design support for complex issues.
* Shaping and driving internal SEIT strategy, planning, and execution for the TSS family of products.
* Leading approximately 12-15 direct reports and overseeing systems engineering on multiple projects
* Managing the staffing and resource allocation within the SEIT domain. This includes recruiting and hiring candidates.
* Conducting performance evaluations, promotions, and career planning activities.
* Cultivating and growing the systems engineering organization.
* Interfacing w/ Program Management, CAMs, Project Engineers, other discipline leaders, and customers over priorities, milestones and deliveries.
* Providing technical direction to the broader SEIT team responsible for requirements analysis, system design, implementation support, integration, testing, and deployment of software and hardware solutions for the TSS products.
* Facilitating and performing SEIT team planning and coordination with multiple discipline engineering/maintenance teams to accomplish technical program milestones and issue resolution.
* Supporting dialog with external customers to ensure program objectives are maintained.
* Participating in SEIT team responsibilities including decomposing requirements, creating system level designs, developing test procedures, defining requirement verification methods, integrating products into the larger ground system, troubleshooting errors, and working closely with Software and Hardware engineers as part of an Agile Team.
* Driving SEIT team adoption of digital transformation initiatives to include Agile, Model Based Engineering (MBE), DevSecOps, and Automated Test.
* Supporting proposals and ROMs by authoring/reviewing detailed Basis of Estimates and supporting compliance reviews.
* Traveling (up to 10%) to customer facilities for integration and deployment events with some amount of overtime required during events.

Basic Qualifications

- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance; ability to obtain a final TS/SCI Clearance
- Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with the Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives
- Strong Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test background to include full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) execution and best practices on Software and Hardware based systems.
- Knowledgeable in Systems Engineering processes and tools, including experience in executing in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Highly experienced in leading team of engineers (e.g. previous experience as a Technical Lead, Project Manager, System Lead, Product Lead)
- Highly experienced in Agile methodologies and execution in Agile programs
- Expected to obtain Security+ certification within 6 months of starting
- Ability to embrace complex technical challenges and apply systems thinking for resolution
- Possess excellent customer relationship management skills to include outreach and communications experience.

Desired skills

- Secret level clearance; Top Secret preferred
- Cross-Domain Solution (CDS) familiarity/experience
- Previous Functional Manager responsibilities.
- Direct experience performing L-Coded responsibilities over a team of at least 10 people.
- Experience with maintaining Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
- Experience with use of test automation tools (ex: Eggplant, Robot Framework)
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and practices (Cameo preferred), SysML, DoDAF
- Experience with project planning and Microsoft Project

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
