Description:

We're seeking an admitted attorney for a highly promising Criminal Defense Attorney - Focus on TRO (Temporary Restraining Orders) position at a premier law firm offering ample room for growth. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated attorney to gain hands-on experience and advance their career within an established and supportive legal team.

In this role, you will report directly to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney. You'll manage your own caseload, communicate with clients, and collaborate closely with our experienced team of criminal defense attorneys and legal assistants.

Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and draw up legal documents related to their cases
  • Attend pretrial hearings on behalf of clients and provide post-hearing advice on the best strategies
  • Manage court appearances, trials, drafting motions, interviewing witnesses, and conducting legal research
  • Analyze probable case outcomes using knowledge of legal precedents
  • Manage workload efficiently
  • Provide legal analysis to clients to determine potential case benefits
  • Gather additional evidence to support clients' cases or to counter the prosecution's charges
  • Prepare clients for depositions, determine essential case strategy goals, and gather information from witnesses and key experts supporting clients' positions.

Qualifications
  • Experience handling criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levels
  • A team player willing to assist, strategize, and collaborate with fellow associates
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: $90,000.00-$120,000.00
