Role Overview
The New Business Development Manager is responsible for generating qualified leads, setting meetings, and driving revenue growth by securing new clients across key sectors in the AEC Industry. Reporting directly to the New York Division President, this role is critical to expanding our presence and client base in one of the most dynamic construction markets in the world. This position is in-office with occasional flexibility to work remote.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential new clients, including:
- Architects / Engineers
- Building Owners / Developers
- General Contractors - Develop and execute business development strategies tailored to the New York market.
- Create and maintain compelling marketing materials to support outreach efforts.
- Build and sustain relationships with key decision-makers through outreach and follow-up.
- Qualify leads, nurture prospects, and guide them through the sales pipeline.
- Negotiate and close new business deals in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Track and report on outreach activity, lead generation, and deal progress.
- Stay current on industry trends, projects, and competitive activity in the NYC market.
- Represent the company at networking events, industry functions, and client meetings.
- Make contact with new potential clients per week (specific goal set with Division President)
- Set meetings per month with qualified leads
- Meet or exceed quarterly new business targets
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC)
- Strong understanding of commercial construction and the sales process in the built environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to negotiate and close deals
- Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and ability to thrive independently
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, LinkedIn Navigator)
