Job Description

The Sr. Program Manager-Patient Interface will play a critical role as a Program Champion, responsible for leading New Product Development, Research and feasibility activities for Patient Interface products (Masks) in the Sleep & Respiratory Care market.

Your role:
  • Develops, and ensures compliance with program/project goals, including project schedule milestones, product cost targets, and product quality/reliability measures.
  • Coordinates and schedules program/project activities using appropriate project management techniques, technical judgment and interpersonal skills.
  • Actively leads and participates in periodic program/project meetings, Design/R&D/Manufacturing reviews, and prepares/communicates project overviews and status reports to executive management.
  • Works with R&D Engineering Directors/Managers to ensure program/project objectives are appropriately defined.
  • Leads the identification/mitigation of project risks and tracks all issues/action items to closure.
  • Ensure project teams follow Quality System and Business Management System processes.
  • Effectively use Philips Respironics systems to achieve program/project deliverables relative to safety, effectiveness, usability, manufacturability, reliability, cost, quality, and time to market.


You're the right fit if:
  • You have a minimum of 7+ years' experience in Program/Project management within FDA regulated medical device product development/R&D environments, with a focus on product sustaining, continuous/process improvement, design change requests and CAPA process/projects.
  • You have expertise in all aspects of program/project management, planning, and execution, demonstrating an outstanding record of project management success, both in results achieved and in use of professional methodology.
  • You have proven experience utilizing Microsoft Project (Required) in developing program schedules, assigning resources, tracking progress, managing budgets etc.
  • You're able to communicate project status in a clear, concise manner, to business leadership regarding schedules, risks, budget and resources.
  • You're able to facilitate the recognition of project risks, define corrective actions, tracking project to closure and have extensive experience mitigating project challenges, with the ability to develop, work with and communicate effectively with cross-functional, global project teams and the greater S&RC organization at all levels.
  • You have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Required) in Engineering, Life Sciences or comparable disciplines. Master's Degree/MBA desired. PMP or other project certifications desired.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.


How we work together:

We believe that we are better together than a part. For our Office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations. This is an Office role.

Philips Transparency Details:
  • The pay range for this position in Murrysville, PA is $124,000 to $199,000.


The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

  • Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Murrysville, PA.
