The Senior Brand Designer is an ambitious and driven individual that exemplifies our core values and builds brand authority for Sonic. This role will be responsible for elevating the Sonic brand, maintaining brand consistency, and positioning Sonic as a leading fiber provider. The Senior Brand Designer will work with internal leaders to spearhead our branding initiatives and shape our visual identity across various platforms.

Full-time (40 hours per week), exempt position. Hybrid role.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This is a leadership role on the Sonic Marketing team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deep understanding and expertise in core areas of visual design, including typography, grid/layout, color theory, logo + identity design, design systems, photography, and how to create a range of expressive tones from combining those elements.
- Design materials and internal resources (print, digital, video) for teams that are on-brand and aligned with the needs of the business.
- Collaborate closely with external teams (Product, Sales, HR, Customer Service, Developers) to identify needs and deliver brand cohesive and impactful marketing assets to help reach shared business goals.
- Apply strategic visual thinking and design skills to deliver end-to-end brand creative that builds equity in Sonic's brand and positions Sonic as a leading fiber internet provider.
- Build creative strategies in partnership with Marketing leadership that elevates the brand, builds authority, and reaches business goals.
- Ability to build creative process and lead team members through brand design projects for print and digital creative, maintaining consistency with brand standards and positively representing the Sonic brand.
- Present and effectively communicate your design vision to other members of various teams and internal stakeholders.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
Education
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 5+ Years of experience in Graphic Design and/or Creative Direction
- Experience leading creative teams and building creative process
- Experience working with external agencies
Skills:
- Exhibits strong visual design skills that elevate team standards.
- Balances development, critical thinking, and business needs to deliver meaningful impact.
- Structured and organized with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient knowledge of standard design tools (Abode Creative Suite, etc.)
