Description:

Sungage Financial revolutionized the residential solar industry by offering the most consumer-friendly approach to making solar projects affordable. We are looking to build our brand and get more people going solar than ever before.

We're seeking a curious and adaptable Agile practitioner to help shape our Product Management processes in a fast-paced solar finance environment. This role combines Scrum Master fundamentals with broader project management scope, requiring someone who thrives in evolving environments. We're a growing organization that values continuous refinement of our ways of working.

The ideal candidate approaches problems with a builder's mindset - ready to understand current practices, gather feedback, and guide meaningful improvements. You'll work with teams to develop approaches that serve their unique needs while maintaining consistent delivery. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys exploring how teams work together and finding practical ways to help them succeed.

We see documentation and processes as tools that should serve our teams and grow with them. You'll help create living documents and workflows that support our organization's evolution. You'll collaborate with teams to develop approaches that are both practical and sustainable, focusing on what helps teams deliver their best work. We're looking for someone who can help us find the sweet spot between "too much process" and "not enough structure."

  • Design status reporting methods that provide meaningful insights

Process & Documentation:
  • Guide continuous process improvement through observation and feedback
  • Create documentation that serves as a practical resource
  • Work with teams to identify helpful metrics and measurement approaches
  • Develop onboarding materials that grow with team experience
  • Maintain a focused, relevant knowledge base
  • Regular updates to keep documentation current and valuable
  • Create process visualizations that enhance understanding
  • Develop reporting templates that provide clear insights
  • Map team dependencies to support smooth collaboration
  • Guide retrospectives that foster meaningful improvements

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience as Scrum Master, showing growth and adaptation
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or similar certification
  • Experience with multiple project management methodologies
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle fundamentals
  • Skilled facilitator who reads and responds to team dynamics
  • Experience with project management tools and their practical application
  • Track record of creating useful, adopted documentation
  • History of successful process improvement initiatives
  • Experience guiding teams through change and growth
  • Ability to balance improvement initiatives with delivery needs
  • Knowledge of solar industry or financial services preferred but not required
