Here is the Role: The Governance Lead - Manager leads the execution of the client's day-to-day Governance priorities in the areas of business process standardization and policy efforts, as well as system change requests.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manages medium to large project teams.
  • Coordinate client meetings and walkthrough based on day-to-day priorities.
  • Establish near-term goals aligned to senior management strategic direction.
  • Determine new assignment methods and procedures.
  • Facilitates and prepares documentation for regularly recurring client meetings.
  • Manages daily administrative tasks.
  • Monitors tracking tools and maintain SharePoint per business case.
  • Conducts off-line meetings with subject matter experts (SME).
  • Tracks progress and provides reports on open proposals to project manager.
  • Manages and maintains client point of contact (POC) List/Distribution.
  • Manages internal/external client content in SharePoint.
  • Monitor new and existing federal, Department of Defense (DOD) and Army laws, regulations, policies, and guidance to determine impact.
  • Conduct research for policy development.
  • Create policy memorandums for leadership approvals.
  • Capture and track action items from internal/external and ad-hoc meetings for PM summary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience you need:
  • 7+ years of experience in project management required.
  • 4-6 years' experience with General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) required.
  • Experience managing projects.
  • Experience in fact-finding research, extracting and analyzing data.
  • Experience implementing organizational policies and procedures.
  • Identify and problem solve complex client issues.
  • Develop work plans, coordinate daily fieldwork, and project team efforts.
  • Design solutions around in-depth analysis of business situations.
  • Maintain and cultivate client networks and relationships.
  • Manage expectations, lead change efforts, and ensure satisfaction through effective client communications.

  • Knowledgeable of following company business strategy.
  • Strong proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Suite tools.

Travel Requirements:
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10-15% nationally and internationally for client business as needed.

Physical Requirements:
  • Work is performed in hybrid/remote office environment and requires operating standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Must be able to lift small packages or other items up to 20lbs and travel short or long distances in a car, airplane, or other vehicle of transportation to client destinations nationally and internationally if needed.

Extra Credit if you have:
  • 4-year degree in Project Management or related field preferred.
