JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for leading and developing a team of Host Business Development Managers to drive sales and strengthen relationships within the host and franchise travel agency sector. Strong strategic focus on mentoring, coaching, and enhancing the performance of the team, ensuring team has the tools, skills, and strategies needed to drive business growth and exceed sales targets.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Host BDMs, fostering a high-performance culture that encourages accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Provide coaching and training to enhance team members' sales skills, business acumen, and ability to build strong relationships with host and franchise agency partners.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and create personalized development plans to help team members grow within their roles.
- Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the host and franchise agency segment, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Oversee and support team efforts in managing host agency relationships, driving engagement, and identifying growth opportunities within key accounts.
- Encourage innovation and best practices within the team by sharing insights, conducting training sessions, and fostering knowledge-sharing opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership to optimize strategy and results.
- Lead team meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions to align on goals, address challenges, and ensure the team remains motivated and focused.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and agency meetings to enhance brand awareness and strengthen partnerships.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and revenue management to support sales initiatives and optimize agency engagement.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Business Administration, Marketing or related field
EXPERIENCE:
- 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the travel or hospitality sector.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing a sales team, with a strong focus on coaching and development.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Proven leadership and coaching abilities, with experience developing sales teams and fostering professional growth.
- Strong relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to drive strategy and decision-making.
- Highly organized, with strong time management and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently domestically and Internationally as needed.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when required for events or business needs.
- Ability to bend and lift up to 30 lbs to pack and transport marketing collateral to travel agents, with reasonable accommodation. Ability to stand for long periods of time for presentations and provide walking tours for clients onboard vessels, with reasonable accommodation.
