Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Sr. Consultant, Supply chain Security Audit!

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing clients supply chain security program in accordance with industry standards like the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) requirements (or other global equivalents).

This role requires a good understanding of supply chain security principles, risk assessment, and compliance management to ensure the integrity and security of the company's international supply chain. The key objective is to ensure security of product, protection of intellectual property rights and preventing tampering / theft of good while being processed in the factories, in-transit or in-storage or during disposal.

The Specialist will work closely with clients' vendors / partners, and to conduct assessment, identify vulnerabilities, recommend security protocols, and maintain compliance with clients security framework which is based on CTPAT or other global equivalents.

Responsibilities (will occupy approx. 50% of time and will require 10-15% travel during the year)
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain security program aligned with global standards like CTPAT, global equivalents ex. AEO, OEA.
  • Conduct risk assessments of supply chain processes and identify vulnerabilities and potential security gaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and operations, to assess security protocols and procedures.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of supply chain security measures and make recommendations for enhancements.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of internal and external supply chain partners to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with clients' partners, such as carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers, to measure their compliance and communicate recommendations for improvements.

Other Responsibilities, (balance time)

Besides supply chain security audits, the candidate will be responsible for Information Security and IT SOX consulting engagements,
  • Conduct risk assessments of IT systems against industry standards like ISO, NIST etc. Create process and control design documentation of IT processes like change management, access management, incident management etc. based on walkthroughs.
  • Review and update Risk Control Matrix (RCM) for the application system
  • Lead client discussions on a day-to-day basis for walkthrough, status updates, etc.
  • Report potential controls gaps, suggest remediations/ actions plans, assist in risk exposure
  • Ensure client service delivery in accordance with the quality guidelines & methodologies
  • Build and maintain client relationship by understanding and being responsive to client needs and ensuring high quality of work
  • Contribute in people and knowledge development initiatives by developing training material and conducting training


Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / skills
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in security compliance using CTPAT or comparable framework.
  • Good understanding of industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO27001, COBIT
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders, across functions, countries, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability/desire to work in a team-based, customer-focused environment
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Ability to travel 10-15%
  • Demonstrate time management and prioritization skills.

Preferred qualifications / skills
  • Experience in evaluating complex business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control environment
  • Knowledge of Business Process Cycles (e.g., Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Receipt etc.)
  • Strong understanding of general IT processes and controls and the aptitude to ensure the appropriate controls are crafted to mitigate the risks and must be able to demonstrate outstanding communication skills to ensure ability to clearly articulate and negotiate with the external auditors.
  • Experience working with internal and external auditors / government agencies.
  • Willingness to travel (20-30% time)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including but not limited to: Word, Excel, Visio, Access Innovative and always looking for continuous improvement in order to develop succession plan for staff
