Odyssey Systems is recruiting to fill a Principal Nuclear Forensics and Sensor Acquisition Support position supporting the ISR Sensors Division (AFLCMC/WIN), at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. WIN is part of the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), who is responsible for equipping our warfighters to win the fight. The Directorate executes a $22 billion acquisition portfolio developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms, and related sub-systems.

Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Possess expert knowledge, experience, and recognized ability to be considered an industry leader in Nuclear Forensics and Sensor Acquisition Support. Must work independently and be able to apply procedures
- Apply expertise and maintain currency across a wide range of acquisition, programmatic, and technical topics related to nuclear forensics and multiple other distinct sensor programs and technologies including radar and Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR).
- Assist with sensor development planning, program and technology transition, and programmatic execution through all phases of the acquisition life cycle.
- Assist with initiating, participating in, and/or leading the development of system requirements from program inception through program conclusion for a range of technically complex efforts.
- Assist in leading and representing the Government at the Prompt Diagnostic Transition Control Board.
- Understand and assimilate highly complex technical information relating to nuclear forensics, and assist in the assessment, operational planning, testing, and transition of technology to support new USAF programs of record.
- Work with the technical/requirements offices, research and development organizations, and user communities to assist AFLCMC/WIN with understanding requirements and with developing technology transition plans and acquisition strategies that provide a continued interface between the acquisition and user communities.
- Provide strategic advice and assistance to align core system functions with enterprise capability gaps, leading to optimized materiel solutions delivered to program leadership and staff.
- Assist with providing detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization, and implementation of mission critical challenges and issues.
- Consult with government leadership to define problems, clarify needs, complete studies and analyses, and provide recommend solutions.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Top Secret
Education and Years of Experience:
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and at least 20 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 12 years of which must be in the DoD.
- OR bachelor's degree in a related field and 25 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 15 years of which must be in the DoD.
- OR, 30 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, 20 years of which must be in the DoD.
- Requires 10 years of experience and detailed background knowledge in multiple sensor phenomenology with expertise in nuclear technologies, sensor development, and seismic, acoustic, particulate, and optic sensors in support of nuclear forensics programs.
