Seeking an electrical substation engineer to support power delivery projects.
Responsibilities
This role typically requires being in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with an initial requirement of five days a week for about a month.

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $56.25/hr.

Job Description
Seeking an electrical substation engineer to support power delivery projects.
Responsibilities
- Improve and maintain client relations
- Mentor and train substation engineers
- Perform and assist others in the design of medium to extra high voltage utility substations
- Completing one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, elementary and wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, conduit and cable sizing/routing, substation physical layouts, selection of substation equipment, writing of substation equipment specifications, proposal development, construction cost estimates, and project scheduling.
- Perform QA/QC for deliverables to clients across multiple offices and ensure quality procedures are up to standards
- Substation design
- Physical design
- One-line diagrams
- Three-line diagrams
- Experience in 345kV through 500kV substation design
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineering license (PE)
- Experience in 15kV through 345kV physical and electrical substation design, and IEEE/ANSI standards.
- Experience in managing 5 or more people on a project team.
- Experience filling the role of project engineer for several projects occurring concurrently.
- Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills.
- Must have experience running projects on their own.
