The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Manager - Rate Forecasting for Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) based out of Hazelwood or Berkeley, MO.
In this role, you will be spearheading a team of talented analysts in the realm of indirect rates for BDS. You'll be at the forefront of negotiating indirect rate proposals with our customers and presenting to top-level executives and senior decision-makers. Collaborating closely with Controllers, Senior Vice Presidents, and other key stakeholders, you'll showcase your expertise in rate forecasting and ensure seamless communication throughout the organization. As a vital link between internal teams such as Finance Shared Services (FSS), and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), as well as external partners like Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), you'll play a pivotal role in driving our financial success.

Position Responsibilities:
- Leads employees and mid-level managers performing Estimates at Completion, financial forecasting, case development and risk, financial and competitive analyses
- Develops and implements integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives
- Acquires resources for organizational activities and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Anticipates and champions change within an organization and remain adaptable as the organization changes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadership
- 5+ years of experience communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers
- 5+ years of experience effectively communicating and conveying complex financial information to all levels of staff, management, and internal/external customers
- Experience in a role that required you to make calculated risks in a dynamic & fast-paced environment.
