Our DIS Counselors enjoy professional autonomy, but they also benefit from the camaraderie of being considered part of the school community and the special education team. This position offers a school-year work schedule, allowing you to work during the academic year and enjoy summers and school breaks off. Our DIS Counselors may support only one school, or multiple schools, developing and implementing counseling services for students with IEPs. These services include, but are not limited to, personal/social development, behavior management, and academic performance to individual or group settings in accordance with student IEPs and students in general education.

Compensation and Financial Perks:
- Hourly Rate: $43 -$57
- Weekly direct deposit
- Paid drive-time and mileage reimbursements for travel between school sites
- Communications Stipend (dependent on position & hours worked)

Requirements:
- Pupil Personnel Services Credential authorizing services as a School Counselor
- Willingness to travel to multiple school sites
- Flexibility to adjust to change that best supports students' needs
