Pinterest is looking for an experienced Global Travel & Expense Manager to lead our newly formed T&E team through day to day operations. This role will also have the unique opportunity to redefine Pinterest's T&E strategy and policy, implement tools, build processes, collaborate cross functionally, while maintaining an exceptional employee experience. The role will report directly to the Senior Director of Accounting.

What you'll do:
  • Lead and develop Travel, Expense, Corporate Cards operations in compliance with internal policies, controls, and procedures
  • Implement best-in-class travel & expense management technology to streamline booking, tracking, and reporting
  • Continuously benchmark and refine policies and procedures to align with business needs, best practices, industry regulations, standards, and trends
  • Manage T&E vendors & outsourced support team and act as point of escalation to ensure timely remediation of issues
  • Ensure our overall strategic program and supplier relationships prioritize delivering value, scale, and efficiencies while improving sustainability and duty of care
  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship with cross-functional partners, including Groups & Meetings, Sourcing, Security, Accounting, Finance, and HR organizations
  • Implement key reporting and metrics to monitor compliance, operational efficiency and quality of service; Provide detailed reporting and analysis to senior leadership
  • Develop and maintain Travel & Expense Operations documentation and policy repository
  • Manage, coordinate and support special projects, analysis and ad-hoc tasks as needed


What we're looking for:
  • 8+ years of Travel & Expense experience with 3+ years of supervisory experience required
  • Deep understanding of global travel logistics and regulations
  • Experience with Travel & Expense tool implementation, enhancements, and SOX requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication with proven ability to influence up, down and across the organization
  • Comfortable enforcing company policies while maintaining employee satisfaction
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented and results driven
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience


In-Office Requirement Statement:
  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times/half and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
