We're looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager - Indexable Tools based in the Northeast Region, covering the New England states, Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. Preference will be given to candidates located within the territory who can drive sales growth, manage distributor relationships, and lead a high-performing sales team.

What You'll Do:

As a Regional Sales Manager - Indexable Tools, you'll lead all sales initiatives in your territory, working closely with distributors, customers, and internal teams to drive business growth. Your key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive growth: Achieve or exceed annual sales goals by identifying high-potential opportunities, strengthening distributor and customer relationships, and implementing data-driven sales strategies.
  • Expand market presence: Evaluate and execute strategies to grow sales, enhance KPTX brand awareness, and maintain strong distributor partnerships. Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and technical advancements.
  • Lead & mentor: Coach, support, and develop a high-performing regional sales team, including Sales Engineers and Independent Manufacturer Representatives (IMRs).
  • Collaborate & report: Work cross-functionally to provide insights on product development, pricing strategies, and sales forecasts. Prepare and present regular regional sales reports.
  • Execute sales: Develop and implement territory plans, identify key decision-makers, deliver tailored solutions, and negotiate contracts to close deals. Ensure long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Engage customers: Build strong relationships with key clients and distributors by providing expert guidance on product applications and identifying new opportunities.
  • Represent the brand: Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote KPTX products and expand our market presence.


What You Bring:
  • A bachelor's degree in business management, sales, engineering (preferred), or a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of industrial sales experience, preferably with large national distributors.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing and developing sales teams; industrial merchandising experience is a strong plus.
  • A valid driver's license that meets KPTX insurance requirements.
  • Willingness and ability to travel is needed to meet business objectives.
