ABOUT THE POSITION
The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Departmental Systems Coordinator (Server Administrator) position. This position will be primarily responsible for:
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining VMWare virtual environments, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting issues.
  • Configuring and maintaining network storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability while monitoring storage capacity.
  • Managing backup solutions, scheduling regular backups, verifying integrity, and executing recovery procedures.
  • Administering Microsoft 365 services, managing users, allocating licenses, and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Implementing security measures, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and ensuring adherence to District security standards.
  • Continuously monitoring system performance, tracking metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing resource utilization.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field AND two (2) years of full-time professional level experience in systems analysis and personal or mini-computer hardware and software acquisition in a departmental or similar environment. Additional experience as outlined above may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis.

Licensing and Certification: Specified positions may require a valid Nevada Class C Driver's License at time of appointment depending upon the department assigned and the number of work sites for which the individual is responsible.
