Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Administrator to serve as the primary technical support for one or more applications. This role works closely with server and database administrators while maintaining separation of duties. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining application software, supporting data center migrations, managing interfaces and APIs, and addressing application requirements driven by organizational transformation initiatives. You will lead security implementations, support pre-production and production environments, and address cybersecurity vulnerabilities, ensuring the stability and efficiency of systems

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary technical support lead for one or more applications
  • Install, configure, and maintain all software products used by the application, including version upgrades and patching
  • Provide technical support for both pre-production and production environments
  • Support and manage application code release processes
  • Collaborate with server and database administrators while maintaining separation of duties
  • Facilitate data center migrations and define application-specific firewall and network requirements
  • Administer application interfaces and APIs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve break/fix incidents
  • Support application requirements driven by organizational transformation initiatives
  • Lead implementation of applicable Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs)
  • Generate and provide required STIG/SRG outputs to support program security compliance
  • Research, assess, and implement resolutions for cybersecurity vulnerabilities identified through routine scans


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Seven (7) years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) in a related field, or four (4) years additional related experience
  • Candidates must possess an active Public Trust clearance (Tier 3 / IT-II - Non-Critical Sensitive) based on a completed NACLC (National Agency Check with Law and Credit) investigation.
    OR
    Hold an active Secret (or higher) security clearance.

Required Skills & Certifications:
  • Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at the time of proposal submission.
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
  • DoD Approved 8570/8140 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II.
