The Senior Accountant role at Wellfit is critical for maintaining and enhancing our financial operations amidst rapid company growth. This position requires a highly skilled and proactive professional who is adept at detailed financial processes and can work independently while supporting team objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute all month-end and year-end financial closure activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
Assist accounts receivable and payable processes, including detailed invoice management and thorough reconciliations.
Conduct robust financial reporting and analysis to aid strategic decisions and bolster operational efficiencies.
Maintain compliance with accounting standards and collaborate with external auditors for annual audits.
Innovate and refine accounting procedures and systems to align with the company's expansion objectives.
Collaborate with FP&A team with monthly variance analysis and forecasting processes.
Cash flow management and optimizing cash transaction procedures.
Serve as a key financial expert, providing essential insights and analyses to uphold the company's strategic directions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA would be a plus.
Minimum of 3 years' of public accounting experience or 5+ years of industry experience (or a combination of the two) is required
Experience across a broad range of accounting functions such as cash management, receivables, payables, purchasing, and expense reporting.
Strong proficiency with NetSuite or other similar ERP systems.
Extensive knowledge of GAAP and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Proven ability to handle comprehensive financial analysis and problem-solving.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Audit experience to understand a wide range of accounting practices and principles.
