  • Develop multiple projection methodologies and tools for performance at cadence, both in the simulation and equation-based realms.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams for alignment and report performance, commits, and targets.
  • Silicon testing to support performance accuracy improvements and pathfinding activities.
  • Design and develop non-volatile NAND memory array drivers and sensing circuits, as well as implement improvements to Micron's existing designs
  • Develop array waveforms with detailed timing and biasing conditions of array signals. This requires in-depth familiarity with NAND Flash memory read, program, and erase algorithms and collaboration with the process technology team.
  • Drive alignment of design solutions, methodologies, array-related issues, silicon debugging, resolving root cause, and applying corrective actions across a distributed matrix organization.
  • Participate in competitive analysis activities that require multi-functional collaboration.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Preferred MS/PhD or BS + 5 years of proven experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • At least 3 years of post-degree experience designing NAND Flash memory analog/core circuits, NAND cell mechanisms, and projecting NAND performance using a calculator methodology.
  • At least 3 years of post-degree experience in delivering software at a cadence in Python.
  • Ability to perform risk/benefit analysis of new NAND technology scaling options and their impact on NAND analog/core circuits, algorithms, and trims.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and a team player (on the same team and outside of the team).
  • Good verbal communication skills (English) and ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts in verbal and written form. Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with colleagues.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years understanding of device physics of the NAND memory cell, from the main operation modes to the constraints that govern reliability, performance, and yield.
  • Minimum of 3 years understanding of CMOS device physics and reliability issues, including CHC, NBTI, stress, snapback, Electro-migration (EM), and IR analysis.
  • Proven experience with analog and digital simulators such as HSPICE, Fast SPICE, Verilog, Cadence/LVS/DRC tools, and facilitating platforms like JAMA, JIRA, and Unix
  • Experience working with designer engineers, mask designers, device engineers, and product engineers by following a meticulous quality process and problem-solving method. The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$145,000.00 - $246,500.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
