Position Overview: Chubb is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Accident & Health (A&H) Affinity Markets division. The Head of A&H Affinity Markets will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic vision for our affinity partnerships, driving growth, and enhancing our product offerings in the A&H space. This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance landscape, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
  • Oversee team of 16 Underwriting, Marketing/Sales, Account Managements professionals responsible for the underwriting and servicing of new and renewal Credit Card Enhancement Insurance and Supplemental Health products (Direct Marketing, Affinity, Digital distribution). Products include: Travel Insurance (multiple products), Extended Warranty, Purchase theft and damage insurance, Cell Phone Protection, Critical Illness, AD&D, Accident Medical, Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, Dental, Medical Gap Supplemental.
  • Driving the successful underwriting discipline inclusive of developing and negotiating price coverage, terms and conditions for all new business and renewals.
  • Maintain underwriting and program discipline by complying with underwriting authority, guidelines, and directives.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure robust sales pipeline and production management with underwriting teams to ensure best practices and efficiencies utilized.
  • Oversee operational oversight of monthly production reporting, leveraging data for insights and trend management
  • Collaborate with home office underwriting, actuarial, product development, claims and legal teams and current and new expansion opportunities and oversight over TPAs.
  • Achievement of top and bottom-line financial plan - including new business growth and renewal retention, expense management.
  • Building strong relationships with key external producers and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive efficiencies and oversight of document repository systems to ensure completion and accuracy.
  • Development and execution of a strategic plan to broaden and diversity the distribution of products.


Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in the industry with a focus on Affinity Markets.
  • Strong quantitative skills and a background in analyzing and modeling large amounts of data and performance metrics
  • Excellent communication, sales, influence, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver results within defined timelines.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving business growth.
  • Demonstrated inclusive and visionary leadership.
  • Accomplished in delivering an effective employee engagement experience, including a keen focus on career development.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
