Location
  • The preferred location for this role is onsite in our San Mateo office; Exceptional remote applicants will be considered as well.
Responsibilities
  • People Leader: Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team of technical trainers
  • Technical Leader: Technical coach, mentor, and problem solver helping with technical strategy for the program
  • Program Leader: Own and Oversee program content & curriculum, development of new offerings, program growth, and executing strategic initiatives
  • Builder: Identify gaps, show initiative, and take ownership to build out the program and all relevant processes
  • Connector: Work cross-functionally to drive improvements and increase communication and collaboration across departments e.g. channel sales, product, support, enablement, marketing, etc and to key stakeholders e.g. Executive Chairman, VPs of Solutions Engineering, Channel Sales, Strategy and Operations
  • Career Champion: Develop and grow the team's skillset through coaching, mentoring, and enablement
  • Travel Requirement: Up to 40%
Additional Responsibilities
  • Lead & Support Technical Trainings
    • Lead 2 weeks of trainings each quarter
    • Support and observe direct reports as they lead trainings 2-3 weeks of each quarter
  • Content & Curriculum
    • Conduct monthly reviews of all content
    • Own Localization of all content - manage/coordinate content updates for all international markets and languages
    • Oversee New Certification Builds - project manage from discovery to rollout
  • Develop and Execute on Program Training Strategy
    • Work to determine how we improve the quality of our trainings and certifications?
  • Manage Training Kit Builds and Maintenance
    • Plan and oversee our quarterly maintenance plan for all training kits
  • Drive synergies with other CTPs (Channel Technical Programs)
    • VPSN, Demo, Community
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional work with 3+ years of Technical Trainer/Solutions Engineering experience
    • Leadership experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information and Computer Technology, Cybersecurity, IT Security or similar from an accredited university
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure and network/security fundamentals
  • Proven track record in leading high performing teams
  • Experience building out programs and driving high impact projects and initiatives
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and enthusiastic with excellent follow-up and follow-through

Annual Pay Range

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).

Estimated Annual Pay Range

$150,000-$190,000 USD
