We are currently seeking a highly skilled Owner's Authorized Representative II (OAR II) to work onsite in Los Angeles, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Monitor and report on project progress, budget, and scheduling to senior leadership.
- Coordinate with public agencies, district teams, and project stakeholders.
- Review and respond to contractor submittals, RFIs, and change order proposals.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Administer professional service agreements and oversee delivery of fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
- Manage project certification with the Division of the State Architect (DSA) and financial closeout.
Required Education (one of the following):
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
- Bachelor's degree in any field + ability to earn a CCM credential within one year
- 20+ years of construction/project management experience + CCM credential within one year
- Current Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential
Minimum Qualifications:
- 15+ years of full-time professional experience in construction/project management
- 5+ years managing complex projects valued at over $20M
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Architect or Professional Engineer in California
- CCM certification by CMCI
- Experience with Design-Build, BIM, LEED/CHPS, and DSA processes
- OSHA 30 safety certification
