Job Responsibilities:
The Director of Oncology reports to the Associate CNO of Oncology for operations and program planning. The Director of Nursing has a matrix relationship to the Vice President for Nursing and Patient Services for professional nursing practice issues, programs, and standards. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing care delivered, planning, organizing, leading, and evaluating the nursing service within the Oncology Unit. In addition, the Director is responsible for fiscal management, development of short- and long-term goals for nursing service, management of nursing personnel, and providing nursing leadership in formulating and implementing functional unit objectives.
Qualifications:
Salary Range: $170,000 per year - $210,000 per year. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of progressively responsible related experience including 3-5 years of management experience.
- Earned Doctorate in Nursing or related field. Candidates with a Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing may be considered for this position if they matriculate in a doctoral program within 12 months from date of hire.
- Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Maryland
- ONCC certification required
