Description
BIM Coordinator (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services, Inc.; Chicago, IL): Document Building Information Modeling (BIM) procedures, workflows, and best practices for data post-processing and modeling. Support pilot testing of new BIM applications and add-ins. Support automation of BIM in production design processes. Ensure compliance with company drafting and BIM standards throughout projects. Create, manage, and organize Revit families and details to enhance content libraries. Execute model audits and ensure compliance with the BIM Execution Plan. Troubleshoot, assist, and mentor Revit users. Attend BIM coordination meetings with internal team and external project stakeholders. Work with engineers to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks, communication of issues, and project documentation. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). Salary range is $87,547 - $101,400 per year. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, & work location. Qualifications
Requirements :
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience with the following: Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam; BIM standards, workflows, modeling, and clash detection tools including Navisworks; Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) processes; Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry standards; Coordination and management of BIM models; and BIM execution plan.
