Our team in Littleton, CO seeks a level 4 Program Planner to support a program within the SPACE and Strategic Missile Defense Line of Business that has the size and scope to offer valuable career development experiences. Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will ....
Develop, status and analyze complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in sufficient detail to monitor progress.
Develop recovery plans to ensure program milestones are completed in accordance with the contract requirements.
Use critical path methodology and application in network development, analysis, and problem resolution
Perform independent schedule risk assessments and mitigation planning
Develop/maintain Earned Value Management System metrics and provide monthly status and analysis in conjunction with Program Finance and CAMs
Interface with a variety of program functional organizations such as Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Subcontract Management, Business Management, and Program Management while working with the entire planning team to translate customer requirements into the program baseline
Work with cross-functional teams to maintain and coordinate vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the IMS, and the Program Summary Master Schedule
Mentor junior planners on the team, building "bench strength" and advancing the quality of the team.
Serve as liaison by maintaining, publishing, and presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering

Basic Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in an operational planning or scheduling type of capacity
Extensive knowledge of a scheduling tool such as MS Project (preferred), RTP, Primavera, ProjectView
Seasoned in earned value management systems and processes
Ability to perform schedule integrity checks and critical path analysis
Experience with Schedule Risk Assessments (Monte Carlo simulations)
Experience with resource loaded schedules
Must be a United States citizen and able to obtain a Secret government security clearance
Desired skills
Bachelors or Masters degree with 8-10 years of professional experience with 6 years being directly related to a planning and/or leadership position
Active Secret clearance
Experience with Microsoft Project Server
Familiarity with Space Operations and SMD LOB
Knowledge of Corporate PPMP requirements document and SSC PPM-IP document
Experience with Schedule Risk Assessments (Monte Carlo simulations)
Experience working with resource loaded schedules
Earned Value Management experience
Experience in presenting in government reviews, audits, and closing actions
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective internal relationships
Experience providing direct program planning expertise across program components as required

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $95,000 - $167,440. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
