Job Summary:
Manages employees that are responsible for development projects, teams, and facility site support functions. This role has the responsibility of providing secure and reliable IT services and site support solutions to the Load and Haul Group, and the following Resource Industries Operations & Products (RIOP) manufacturing sites: Decatur, IL and Peterlee, UK. The manager will partner with the Load and Haul Group leadership with their strategic direction of Caterpillar products.

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00

Job Summary:

The manager will partner with the Load and Haul Group leadership with their strategic direction of Caterpillar products.
What You Will Do:
- Develop relationships with RIOP Wheeled Product business partners in understanding their IT needs to recommend strategic direction with OPACC Improvement Agendas (OIA) and present challenges.
- Lead a team with responsibility for delivering business outcomes in support of local factory systems and solutions, and by understanding requirements and engaging with service providers.
- Provide business architecture leadership to guide and deliver strategic roadmaps.
- Provide operational support to keep factories and offices efficient and secure.
- Monitor and maintain adherence and compliance to quality standards.
- Partner within the Caterpillar IT division and other IT organizations to align strategic enterprise solutions and ensure smooth transitions with key systems changes.
- Maximize staff contributions through professional growth and development, to increase teamwork and more effectively meet business needs.
- Primary IT Leader contact for site support IT services to internal business partners including escalation point for Priority 1 and 2 service tickets.
What You Have:

- Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Information Technology Trends:
- Knowledge of marketplace experience, developments and trends related to the organization's use of Information Technology (IT); ability to apply knowledge of IT appropriately to benefit the organization.
Analytical Thinking:
- Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Talent Management:
- Knowledge of the critical competencies required to achieve intended results; ability to generate consistent approaches for hiring, selection, retaining and leveraging talent across the organization.
Leadership:
- Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing, and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
IT Service Management (ITSM):
- Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) service; ability to manage IT services and oversee service operations.
Top Candidates Will Have:
- Relevant degree and progressively complex IT experiences
- Previous leadership experience.
- IT factory-facing experience is preferred.
