The Vice President, Property Operations (VPPO) provides regional management leadership and as needed approval authority. The VPPO is responsible for ensuring the overall success of their region in providing an exceptional customer experience, the highest quality and financially healthy properties, and successful completion of company initiatives. This position reports to the Senior Managing Director, Link Parks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Asset Management: Act as a critical point of contact for the regional Property Management Directors, Associate Directors and Senior Property Managers as it relates to Company initiatives, procedures and processes, while working closely with the Regional Senior Vice Presidents. Maintain close contact with counterpart on the Industrial side of the business along with various departments in Fort Washington and throughout Link.
  • Team Mentorship: Effectively mentor and provide leadership to the regional property management teams, particularly the Associate Directors and Directors. Assist with defining and refining processes and procedures for PM Department. Develop and report metrics to measure performance of team.
  • Financial Responsibility: Develop and manage analytics around portfolio expenditure.
  • Legal: Process operational legal documentation. Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external legal departments for issues and resolutions
  • Contracts: Negotiate 3PPM agreements and fees as applicable. Review and sign contracts for capital work or recurring services as per established thresholds and workflows.
  • Special Projects: Implementation and oversight of special projects or corporate initiatives as they occur. Oversight and support of acquisitions and dispositions within the region.
  • Strategy: Assist the Senior Managing Director and regional leaders in strategy.
  • Supervision: Oversee a 3-4 person team and make staffing decisions. Provide career development for operations team. Create and implement high level goals and initiatives. Ensure a positive team atmosphere which promotes Link's Four Pillars: Customers, Culture, Community, and Capital Deployment.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 12+ years of experience in commercial real estate, property, and project management/operations.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to effectively manage budgets and reporting.
  • Proficiency with capital and tenant improvement projects.
  • Ability to utilize and interpret documents such as leases, safety rules, plans and specifications, operating and maintenance instructions, and/or procedures manuals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office. Experience with Yardi strongly preferred. Exhibit enthusiasm for adopting technology solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with numerous people, both inside and outside the organization.
  • Self-motivation, determination, accountability, and initiative in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced work environment while managing competing deadlines.
  • BA or BS in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management, or related field. CPM/RPA designation preferred.
  • Ability to travel is required.


$185,000 - $215,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
