Telework will be discussed with manager after 90 days.About the Project Manager position:
The Project Manager positions are engaged in the implementation of federally and state-funded Hazard Mitigation projects such as real estate acquisition, construction or elevation of homes, installation of generators, and other recovery projects authorized by FEMA or the State of NC. The selected candidates will oversee multiple mixed-type projects in one or more counties and ensures that the scheduling, scope of work, reimbursements, and other programmatic compliance is met.
Project Managers are required to work with contractors, local government administrators, customers, and/or other entities to ensure timely execution of projects to meet very tight periods of performance. The selected candidates are expected to visit all projects sites to conduct site inspections, ensure and enforce work site safety, verify construction and project schedules, maintain pictorial records, and make adjustments to work, as required, to maintain schedules.
