Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day, 5x8 Hr
Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 per week
Experience: Preferably previous experience as a Registered Nurse
License: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)/Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)/Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as appropriate for unit or service preferred
Must-Have: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
Job Description:
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Evaluate health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data.
- Conduct health teaching and health counseling.
- Provide supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly to patients or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching.
- Execute delegated medical functions.
- Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment.
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
- Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Utilize resources effectively and efficiently.
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health facility and adhere to service behavior standards.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned.
- May be required to float to other departments within scope and qualifications based on business needs.
- May be required to be on-call during regularly scheduled shifts.
