Job Title: Interventional Technologist
Job Specialty: Interventional Radiology
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of one year in interventional radiology or a catheterization lab setting
License: Current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer
Certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered
- Advanced certification in ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or ARRT-VI preferred
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or equivalent within three months of hire
Must-Have:
- Experience in vascular interventional radiology procedures
- Strong coding and billing knowledge in interventional radiology
- Experience with Siemens and Philips imaging systems
- Experience with Siemens and GE ultrasound imaging systems
- Experience with EPIC / PACS systems
Job Description:
- Assist physicians with interventional radiographic and related procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
- Prepare and document inventory materials, supplies, and coding used for interventional radiology services.
- Provide support for vascular interventional radiology, neuro, and hybrid operating rooms.
- Exhibit progressive responsibility and experience in IR/NIR or Cath Lab.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the operation of interventional radiographic and related diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and supplies.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
