About the job ITS/Smart Mobility Project Manager
The ITS/Smart Mobility Project Manager will leverage expert knowledge to manage complex projects and task orders in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Smart Mobility. This role involves acting as project manager, task lead, or in a significant role for ITS design and systems engineering tasks from start to finish, with responsibilities that include mentoring and training junior staff. Projects will vary in size, from \(30,000 task orders to jobs with engineering fees exceeding \)1 million, with the objective of delivering all project goals related to scope, schedule, and budget.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Companies ATS Questions):
1. Bachelors degree from an ABET accredited engineering program
2. Certification as a Professional Engineer in the candidates state of residence and the ability to obtain additional PEs in other states via reciprocity as needed
3. 4 years experience in specialized discipline
4. Experience working with clients at the county, state, MPO and/or Federal level on a daily or regular basis.
5. Experience with standard design contracts, task order contracts, design-build contracts
6. Experience in planning, systems engineering, design and procurement of traffic management systems, including traffic signal control systems, freeway management systems, toll operations and collection systems, transit signal priority systems, traveler information systems, and tunnel and bridge operations and SCADA systems
7. Experience in use of the MUTCD, as well as NEMA and NTCIP standards for traffic management and information, and SAE and IEEE standards as used for V2X communications
8. Experience using Bentley MicroStation, AutoCAD, or similar products for plan preparation and review
9. Experience using ProjectWise and Bluebeam for project and document management
10. Experience using Microsoft Project for project scheduling and tracking.
11. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

- Develop and maintain project management plans and schedules
- Manage project scope and subconsultants
- Participate in client presentations and oversee project team
- Assist in developing extra work order requests and marketing proposals
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an ABET accredited engineering program
- Professional Engineer certification in candidates state with ability to obtain additional PEs via reciprocity
- 10+ years of experience in specialized discipline
- Experience working with county, state, MPO, or Federal clients
