The Digital Product Manager will be responsible for designing new technology that powers seamless end-user experiences and utilizes new frameworks, capabilities, and tools. We are seeking someone with a knowledge of next-gen capabilities such as a business self-service UI, cloud-based solutions, and SaaS/PaaS products. We are seeking someone that is motivated to apply their skills to develop elegant, modern solutions that create great experiences for internal users and our clients. You will collaborate with relevant business and technology partners across the firm to facilitate ideation, design, implementation, and process improvement recommendations. The Digital Product Manager is also able to communicate directly with clients to further refine products and processes based on client needs. The Digital Product Manager will analyze the latest advancement in key products and services areas such as AI, Digital Applications, and Cloud platforms to support HORNE's positioning to successfully implement new technology to meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities
The Digital Product Manager job duties include, but are not limited to:
Work with AI & Innovation team to establish scope, deliverables and resources requirements.
Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and drive next-gen tech research.
Conduct market research and gather customer insights to drive product development.
Lead the development of product backlogs for building and scaling technology capabilities.
Partner with software engineers to design, deliver, and sustain functionalities and find opportunities to deliver personalized experiences for our clients tailored to their needs.
Lead grooming activities within an Agile team, specifically defining and writing user stories, acceptance criteria and customer experience.
Build and maintain strong relationships and feedback loops with leaders and stakeholders who manage the downstream operations and processes that depend on the capabilities and performance of our platforms.
Help with overall thought leadership around overall solution development at the intersection of Software Application, Data/AI, and Cloud Platform to deliver measurable business value.
Drive the entire product lifecycle from ideation through launch. Collaborate with engineering teams to design UX, build applications, and refine features to meet customer needs.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI, engineering, data, marketing, and sales to ensure product vision alignment and successful execution of product initiatives.
Measure product performance and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
Articulate value proposition of new technology features to stakeholders to drive adoption and prepare presentations to senior leaders across domains and functions
Coordinate across Focus Areas (Industry/Sector and IT) to support transformation initiatives
Design new product and services, relay any challenges and resolutions to leadership, and communicate milestones to appropriate stakeholders in a clear, accurate, and timely manner
Possess excellent communication and written skills
Ability to think outside of the box
Ability to learn quickly and lead others in adapting to new technologies
Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects using an Agile approach
Proven experience working in large, complex, and fast-paced organizations, with the ability to navigate matrixed environments
Other tasks that may be required to complete project requirements
Job is Remote, with only occasional travel to meet organizational or client needs
Required Qualifications
Five (5) to seven (7) years' experience in Agile product management
Experience with digital applications and modern cloud-based platforms
Experience collaborating across multi-disciplinary pods
Previous hands-on experience with value stream mapping
Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to drive design
Experience with roadmap prioritization and communicating benefits of new technology
Strong problem-solving skills with experience exercising mature judgment
Able to write and present in a clear and succinct manner that appeals to a wide audience
Preferred and Additional Considerations
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or STEM field
Experience with AI-embedded software
Certification in major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
